James is a first year badminton player starting his Bachelor of Commerce this fall semester. His badminton career began in grade 10 at Victoria School of the Arts when he was only playing for fun with friends, but his passion and commitment to the sport grew throughout his high school career. His exposure to the Kings University Badminton Summer Camp has helped him drastically improve, and as a result, he would get 4th place in the provincial qualifiers for men’s doubles in his senior year, and win the Most Improved Award at his new high school, Austin O’ Brien.
