Melissa Roque is a 2nd year biology student at The Kings University and this is her 2nd year playing on the badminton team. She represents her school well by going undefeated last year winning gold in mixed doubles at nationals and attaining awards of Rookie of the Year, Female Athlete of the year, All Canadian Academic and Overall Rookie of the Year for all sports in ACAC. Melissa has been in competitive badminton ever since she was very little playing at West Edmonton badminton club and B-active badminton club and has been a coach at B-active badminton club for 5 years. She’s excited to compete and for what’s to come this 2025/2026 season!
