Tanner Piers, from Edmonton, Alberta comes to the eagles from Edmonton Christian High School, and Nooks 18u club team. Tanner is a first year social sciences major with a minor in kinesiology, and following graduation hopes to become a teacher. Tanner has been a fantastic addition both offensively and from the service line, and also has the ability to dangle literally anyone at the outdoor rink outside of his time in class or on the court. Additionally, contrary to popular conspiracy theory, Cole Vriend is not Tanner’s dad.
