Men's Soccer/Futsal

Jesse Linford comes to King’s from beyond the Edmonton border, as he adds a bit of Spruce Grove to the men’s program. With experience in the Victoria youth and Spruce Grove Saints youth and men’s teams. Jesse has developed his athletics in more than just one sport. Choosing to specify in soccer toward the end of his high school career, he has secured himself as a strong defensive player. A steady defender, he communicates well, and plays positive, predictable soccer—something much needed as a defender. As he comes to King’s as a leader on his team, we are looking forward to his contribution to leadership as a first year player. Linford will be entering into the Computer Science program at King’s, which is a great program that will lead to many different career possibilities for him. His academic potential matches that of his athletic potential.

Coaches Notes: “Jesse has some great experience with some great coaches during the course of his youth career. He understands the game, and what it takes to play at the men’s level. If we can keep him healthy and safe from injury, we will have a fantastic arsenal of defenders, and will be one of the best young defensive teams in the league. Linford will be a big part of that.”
