Talal Al-Awaid has been a Technical Assistant Coach at King's since 2019. In addition to his role at The King's University program, Talal is a Technical Staff Member and Head Coach at the Born to Be (BTB) Soccer Academy in Edmonton. Talal provides fantastic efforts and certification so that he can provide the Eagles players with quality coaching and guidance.
When he is not on the field coaching, Talal works full time as a Senior Engineer, earning a degree at Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, where he spent his unniversity career. Talal has since earned caps with the AMSL/Prem. Teams at the Edmonton Victoria Soccer club.
Talalo enjoys regularly contributing to various community betterment events, including leading various fundraising food drives for the Edmonton Food bank, and regularly volunteer time at local community events for newcomers/immigrants.
