Men's Soccer/Futsal

Dorian Jacobs is a flashy midfield with loads of energy. His energetic style shows potential to distract, and throw off opponents. His smaller stature best not be taken lightly, as he uses his body to the same extent as a 6’1 centreback. He is a tenacious player who is always looking to sneak behind defenders and provide final balls to forwards and strikers alike. Jacobs means business on the field and off of it, as he begins his commerce degree this fall. The St. Francis Xavier graduate has some strong footwork and ability to get out of small spaces, which will help his futsal game come the winter.  We look forward to what Dorian can contribute to the squad come the fall, as he provides some English flair to the Eagles squad!

Coaches Notes: “I knew I needed to have Dorian when I first saw him play.  I said to myself ‘that is a player that has amazing potential to be a big game little player’. There is nothing better than a smaller stature player beating larger players to balls, winning tackles, and supporting his team. His high emotion and energy game can mean that he loses interest quickly or get frustrated easily, but I am looking forward to working with Dorian on the psychology of it all come the fall. Dorian has a great view of the field, and follow through on his game play ideas.  He will provide our forwards with great angles and through balls.”
