Ava Cunningham, from Sturgeon County, Alberta, is currently in her second year at The Kings University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sociology and a minor in Education. She plans to complete a Bachelor of Education after degree with the goal of becoming a teacher. Ava has a long-standing passion for soccer, having played both club and high school soccer for many years — most notably with Impact. A full-time goalkeeper, she is also highly versatile, having experience as a wing, fullback, center-back, and striker. Her accomplishments on the field include a bronze medal at provincials in U17, as well as gold medals at both the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) and the Alberta Indigenous Games (AIG). Ava is known for her leadership, work ethic, and deep commitment to the sport.
